Adopt

Where can I Adopt?

Our cats and kittens can be found at the PetSmart in Muncie or on Petfinder.

Petfinder

Ready to Adopt now?

If you are ready to add a cat to your family, then you are invited to fill out our adoption form. It usually takes two to four days to approve an application.

How to Adopt

What are we Looking for?

To ensure the safety of our Action for Animals cats and kittens, there are a few things we look for before allowing you to take home your new friends. In our adoption form you will answer questions about your household (if you have any pets, other adults or children in the home), your history with other pets, and your plans for the cat you plan to adopt (indoor vs outdoor housing).

If you currently have pets, we require that they be up-to-date with vaccinations and spay/neutered. If you are inexperienced with pet care, let us know and we can help.

Barn Cat Program

What are Barn Cats?

Not all cats were made to spend their time indoors. Barn cats are working cats that like to have a mission, live outdoors, and take shelter in barns and other similar structures. They need clean water, food set out for them, and a safe place away from predators.

If you are interested in being paired with barn cats let us know! We will spay/neuter and vaccinate the barn cat before placing them with you. Contact us for more information.
